I would like to take this opportunity to discuss how ill-advised, weak, and pathetic is Senator Palumbo.

Contacting him more than a year ago, before the Cook Aquaculture disaster that resulted in the release of millions of ATLANTIC species of farmed salmon into PNW waters, Palumbo claimed he had zero knowledge of the industry and invited me to inform him about the industry and my concerns.

I took a good amount of time to educate the man on what I knew about the industry and to provide information for contacting individuals directly involved and way more knowledgeable than I.

Fast forward to the storm that destroyed one of their terribly constructed and horribly neglected fish pens and the release of farmed salmon into Puget Sound waters, and I contacted the "esteemed" senator, again.

He AGAIN claimed to know NOTHING about the industry saying that this was the first time he had heard about it. LIAR! Damned LIAR!

He then boasted that the legislature had called Cook to heel, and would not renew their leases and permits..... in TWENTY TWENTY FIVE> 2025.

Now Cook is bringing a MILLION more salmon to their rickety fish farms on the heels of analysis of the fish that escaped which showed that those salmon were infected with a rare strain of an RNA Piscene virus!!

This is one of the risks about which I repeatedly warned Senator Palumbo.

Another of his great efforts on behalf of Washingtonians is to acknowledge that the State is operating the 405 toll lanes despite its failure to meet certain metrics of performance which would trigger the end of the program... "Well, the State is just going to keep operating those toll lanes until someone sues them" said Palumbo at the Cascadia College Town Hall meeting...

Not "well, I hear you voters, and I am going to exert effort on your behalf as YOUR REPRESENTATIVE and get the state to recognize its obligations to bring the program to a close... Guy.

One last thing: Guy Palumbo, a "gun owner myself" supports a semi-automatic gun ban.

Fuck this Guy.

Please tell me you recorded those conversations where he lied about you regarding the salmon pens. We can put that on blast and all his liberal constituents won’t turn out for the polls in disgust. Hell it might help us in the fight against 1639. If we can lose at least one more Dem it might be enough to hold back the tide of stupidity.

You know.... maybe I'm not so vindictive (or enough)... but I didn't hang onto those messages...

when we were going back and forth the second time, he and I, and he said he had no knowledge of the subject - despite our earlier conversations - I did through those back at him... sadly that was so long ago, those messages are gone (I looked)
