Thanks guys. Was a bit of a rough night. Not terrible but the better half was reminded she wasn’t the one in charge no more... she wants to attempt to “breast feed only” this one. She may have changed her mind last night with the fact she had to get up bout every hour with me, I did the diaper changes and walking and burping n such, she provided the nutrients for baby girl. She’s in rough shape this mornin. But she’s hangin tough. I don’t think this “titty only” thing will last. Fingers crossed though.

The first two weeks are by far the most difficult, and when mums are most likely to turn to formula. The baby will move to feeding about every two hours--but one nursing session can last 45 minutes or more. It sounds like you're doing a good job of supporting Colleen's mum; be sure to keep her well hydrated and try to get her to eat as regularly as she can. Good luck.
