The same neighbor I helped clear out blackberry bushes on the property line (hers) that she wanted removed....

Some people (the neighbor) are just never satisfied unless they're making other people's lives as miserable as their own. Hope everything works out for you here. You've been down a bumpy road lately, it would be nice if you caught a break once in a while.

So the situation is as I described? It’s almost dark, do you have the keys in your hand?

I will admit, that if I had a vacant house next to me for years, then all of a sudden some dude with some Army rigs shows up one day and decides to park it would peak my interest in just what the fuck was going on. Not to the level of calling PD and the Health Dept, but I would definitely strike up a convo at some point.

Does your friend still pay taxes on the property?

Yes he pays taxes.

I went with the owner and introduced myself to all the neighbors,on the first day I was over there working, letting them know who I was and that they'd be seeing me around cleaning up the place. All of the neighbors were happy to have someone cleaning it up, one neighbor just complained about everything even as I told them 'that's why I'm here'...

I'm not getting the 5 ton out tonight. I'm camping out on the street to keep an eye on it.

Exactly my frustration. No notice, no 'be gone by tomorow' or whatever... But 'you need to leave or you're gonna be arrested'

I went out of my way to be friendly to neighbors, I even asked both of my surrounding neighbors if it was OK if the security lights (Led) I installed shined onto their property a hair... Because it's kinda hard to control a beam of light. Both appreciated me asking and actually requested More light because it helped them too.

Oh, and just to top it off..

I was an idiot and left the door on my 5 ton open, and apparently the 'clean' shorts I put on this morning aren't so clean.. Sitting my my maintenance truck I kept smelling cat piss.. Well... Wouldn't you know... The clothes I laid out last night must have had a visitor.. So the only clothes I have, the gym shorts I'm wearing.. Smell like piss.

Yay. Fucking. Me.

Yeah, irrelevant I know.. But fuck man.. It's raining..

Is like the universe is telling me to go fuck myself.

Just venting.

Kind of on the subject of gov't overreach and bailbondsmen... with the new CA law doing away with bail in most instances, the whole industry will potentially collapse.
