Picked up a Marlin Dark 45-70 Govt today during lunch. Now to begin adding the bling and turning it into a tacticool lever-action scout rifle.

I got the rest of my reloading equipment mouted to various bits of scrap wood so I can mount them in the vise as needed for various stages. Nice thing is when its all said and done everything packs away into the box that the scale was sitting on for easy storage. I'm just waiting on a few more odds and ends and I can start cranking rounds out.

Not today, but Saturday. I took my 12 year old son out to shoot the "big guns". M1 Garand and M1A. We had a great day.

Just received this. It was a little expensive for a stripped lower, but it turned out to be quality and was bought purely for nostalgic reasons. Place of Mfg is my home town.

I have a Guardian Tactical lower because of the "Lynnwood, WA" stamp. My dad took me salmon fishing out of Sitka when I was a teenager. Beautiful place and friendly people! Also didn't hurt that I caught a 52lbs king on the second day.

52# is pretty good. Sitka is one of a couple places I’ve seen 90+ pounders pulled.
