Made a trip to seattle to sell off the Garand to a fellow WAguns member, then took the scenic route home along the water on my motorcycle since it's a gorgeous day out. Ended up meeting up with a ton of vintage bikes coming home from the Isle of Vashon TT run.

Helped my friend build a concrete patio today so I'm too tired to go into the safe to take pics of the AR10.

But these were in the mail box.

Installed a Midwest Industries rail courtesy of one of the great members here on WGO. Came missing two screws which will hopefully be rectified soon. I dunno what Midwest Industries uses as a finish on their metals but it feels great in the hand! My only gripe is of course that the cleaning rod is no longer capable of storage under the barrel and that it doesn`t let me use the sling.

I found MI rails to be pretty heavy.

I went with Manticore Arms, whose rails are right at what the wood handguards weigh...

Meh, I like it but I usually carry a loaded ruck and mags with it when in th`woods.

I built my get home pistol (this lower is just a temp until I find time to build the real lower and not use my future sbr lower) but as it sits right now (again it's going to change probably this weekend) Spikes crusader with a spikes LPK , phase 5 tube sig brace, Mega 10.5 inch 5.56 1 in 8 twist, zero hour gas block,I forget who made the BCG, YHM quad rail and some crappie dagger defense flip ups. It's 99.999999% done just one fucking roll pin left (I have fucking crushed 3 of them)

And don't judge me on this part of my workbench.

Took the .454 and .357 out to try several loads with 2 different powders (H110 and Lil'Gun). Last time I took the .454 with factory ammo I was very disappointed with the grouping and I was having the same poor results with the first 5 groups of my loads (up to 4" spread at 15 yds). Finally got to 37.5 grs of H110. Four of the five shots cloverleaf. First (cold) shot an inch left.

Decided to finally pluck one of the Plano cases I bought years ago.

Too small to fit my 18" AR with Lantac Dragon even if I split the upper and lower.

The foam in these cases is kinda soft. I'm thinking too plasti-dip it a bit.

Wish I had the time and handiness to make one of those hot wire cutters so it would be a bit more clean but for $40, this will do.

Took delivery on 6500 rounds of Federal Automatch .22rf.
Tomorrow the truck will bring me 2000 rounds of Federal Subsonic .22rf.

At the rate I'm shooting, that should last about 6 months.

Hopefully, there will be some more good deals out there for Black Friday so I can stock back up...

Aero had a sale on 308 BCG's over the weekend. :thumbsup2:

My AR308 is now complete (except scope) Glad I went with the 16" instead of the 18". This thing is beefy!
