Figures it fits Seattle well since the caliber is a hipster, commie round. If you want something to fit Seattle well shouldn't you be painting it more like a rainbow--------- like they paint crosswalks in the Central District? Oh yeah, don't forget the flower sticking out of the muzzle

So if I label all my shit "beater rifle" no one will steal stuff?
Put MBUS on my beater blem PSA build upper. Started to build up the Anderson lower, then stopped unsure if I want to improve the trigger or not. Doubt I'll go POF like my other ARs, though. Maybe just polish all the moving parts, see what happens.
Put Diamond Head on-sale sights on my PSA AR-10. Ready to rock the range.
Midway order should be here.................

Got a little closer on load development. 5 shot 100 yards was about an inch, 3 shot 290 yds was 2.25". I suppose I have a tendacy to move around at closer range since being 3 times as far away the group didn't increase 3 fold. Not the first time that's happened. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Finally finished my 10/22 project. And screw CA, I had the barrel threaded. Right now there is a KIDD compensator on it. I've read that if one were to innocently place a roll of toilet paper over the compensator, certainly just to have a place to keep it off the ground, and a shot was fired, a subsonic 22 could be really quiet. Mind you I just read this, never tried it. I wonder how many pesky neighborhood cats have met their end when someone forgot to take off the roll of TP

When building rifles in the past I've made the mistake of stopping short on items like scopes, triggers, and shooting accessories like bipods, rear bags, etc. This time I decided to build a rifle that I wouldn't get the urge to update almost immediately which usually resulted in a box of leftovers on the shelf. I think I have finally built a rifle I can shoot "As is" for a long time to come. There'll be enough playing around with ammo to satisfy my need to "mess with things".

Used the supplied trigger from PSA - just polished the surfaces - it's really smooth, but decidedly heavy pull - like the thing has an extra strong spring. No problems putting this lower together with roll pin starter punches and Knipex pliers.
