Received my LW 9mm upper parts kit.

Received CMC drop in trigger lower parts special deal. OH hell yes, nice deal.

Ordered the rest of the parts for 1 Poly80 build.

I populated my Molon Labe lower (Joe Bob) won in raffle. Super easy. Not really in love with the Expo Arms lower parts, but they work fine. CMC curved trigger is outstanding. This will become my dedicated lower for my 6.8SPC.

Dialed in the UAT on my "nonGlock" 20L. Then tack bonded the two set screws with DAP Rapidfuse. Pretty much the best Glock trigger feel I have partaken upon.

Nearly complete with the office and tote storage shitshow that started as a safe review and clear out. Bench is 100% usable. Totes stowed. Woot!!

I took this ugly, rust pitted pile of parts

Image

and with some hard work and a few bucks (I have less than $60 total invested in the gun) turned it into this

Image

I was going to restore the original wood and keep the long barrel, but I had been pining for an 870 Police style shotgun...old school ever since I missed the group buy on them years ago

^^^ Nice work Casey!!! Beautiful looking shotgun there... Always been a big fan of the 870. A 12ga Wingmaster was my very first firearm as a teenager.

Tried new teaching aid last night in women's concealed class.
I cut a 21 ft length of paracord, putting a knot at 5 and 10 feet. Give one end to student and walk to the other end. Tell them 95% of all gunfights occur within this distance (21 ft). walk to the 10 foot knot, 20% occur between there and here. move to 5 foot knot - 55% occur at this distance or closer.
Worked well.

Found a revolver that I, uh, "needed." Went to do the transfer at Brad's new store ( :thumbsup2: ), and walked out with a new Ruger PC Carbine as well. Tough day.

That's the new-to-me revolver, a Smith & Wesson 500 Magnum with 10.5" barrel. Shown next to my 6" Ruger GP100 .357 for comparison.

The three cartridges, top-to-bottom:

Underwood .500 S&W 350-grain XTP
My reloaded .357 Magnum 158-grain
Underwood .500 S&W 700-grain Lead Really Fucking Flat Nose

I've been waiting for this post ever since I gave you those one or two empty .500 S&W cases! :ROFLMAO:  :wagwoot:

Yup. Bastard.

You gave me one single case, and told me when you gave it to me that you knew it would result in a gun. I've left that case on my desk since then, looking at it occasionally, and yes you were absolutely correct. :angryfire:

Note to self: Do not accept any brass from Kelly. I'm a sucker for free brass of any kind, but I need to control myself in the future. :ROFLMAO:

On a happier note, I received a large, heavy box from Graf's today. I haven't cracked it open yet, but if memory serves it contains dies, a shellplate, and more brass . . . .

Took a co-worker to Sportman's Warehouse to get a feel for her first handgun. Liking the new Shield 380 a lot.

I ordered all the small parts for my G26 Poly80 build.

I finished a lower build and my OD CTR buttstock - arrived perfect timing.

Chancho and I drove to Fall City Firearms to pick up my two Mad Dog lowers ........... all good, well except he charges $49 per SERIAL NUMBER for BGC. Son of a Biscuit.........one piece of paper....WTF?? I kinda like the guy and his shop but I just paid more for the FFL bullshit than the lowers. Fack. I have idiot on my forehead. From now on, it's 2ND Amendment Industries and car fucking traffic in Bellevue. Gawd dammit, I never want to hear you dickweeds in the south end whine about shit.
